That aside, the rebinding capability is absolutely immense. As a controller it feels a little tacky for that reason, the fact that you can feel the ridge around the side with your hand and that the plastic doesn't feel too good. As a controller for that, it's not particularly good because clicking in either touchpad, the bumpers or the control stick require a considerable amount of effort. It seems fun enough. The main reason I decided to buy a Steam controller was because, after playing a lot of Rocket League, my fingers started to hurt. Regardless, when this game comes out I'd be more than interested in it. Then again, I'm sure there are plenty of people who love Early access. There are so many and I don't want to burn myself out in the early access state of the game and not care to play the final product. Not all developers just take advantage of it but it's gotten to the point where I see an early access game and just don't care. They also start to worry about balance issues that people complain about through whatever media outlet the developers track.Īt the same time I like how developers who really need the help can get that money they need to finish the rest of their game. But when they release and early access and start getting money they slow down. Or more focused on getting to a full content release of their game. I feel like before a developer gets money for their game they are making different choices and working at the game with possibly a quicker pace to get it done. ![]() Still, I just can't get behind any more early access titles, but I will absolutely be all over this for its final release. I hope this doesn't come off as too much hyperbole, but if the demo is indicative of the quality of the final game, this a perfect example of an indie gem that makes it worth being a PC gamer. I just tried the demo and I'm very impressed. You have felt disappointed by kickstarters/early access in the past.Įdit: I hope people don't misinterpret this as me recommending you avoid this game. You will be disappointed if the game turns out differently than you had hoped or were led to believe. You need a constant stream of updates from the development team to assure you that they didnt take your money and run. You expect a full game in return for your payment. My personal recommendation, do not preorder (anything in general) if: Please understand what you're getting into people. Or you simply must try the game out, knowing its not finished.
